“Atom” Training System

Interactive laser shooting range for education and training

ATOM is an interactive laser shooting range designed for educational institutions. The system facilitates practical training in the subject of ‘Defense of Ukraine,’ allowing students to practice basic shooting skills in a safe learning environment

Purpose of the ATOM system

TECHNOLOGY ADVANTAGES

ATOM is a training technology developed specifically for the “Defense of Ukraine” educational program

Using a projection system and laser-based weapon replicas, students can learn fundamental shooting skills, understand firearm safety principles, and practice aiming accuracy without the use of live ammunition

The system enables both visual and hands-on learning, helping students develop coordination, focus, reaction speed, and precision

ATOM creates a controlled educational environment where students can repeat exercises multiple times, gradually improving their performance and reinforcing practical knowledge

System Operation Principle

The system combines laser weapon replicas, a projection surface, and a hit detection system.

Acquaintance and instruction

Students are introduced to the system, safety rules, and proper handling of training weapon replicas. This ensures safe and structured participation in practical exercises

Scenario Setup

The training scenario is displayed on a projection surface using a multimedia projector. Students use training weapon replicas with integrated laser modules to practice aiming, focus, and reaction

Practical Exercise

The scenario is projected on screen while students perform exercises using laser weapon replicas, improving accuracy, coordination, and response time

Analysis of results

Laser impulses are captured by sensors and infrared cameras, which determine hit coordinates. Results are instantly displayed on screen, providing performance statistics and progress tracking
