Military operators training to control UAVs using a remote, VR goggles, and specialized software on a laptop

UAV Control System

Interactive training system for UAV operators

The system is designed for training UAV operators in a simulated environment with realistic combat scenario modeling. It enables drone control training, interception of hostile UAVs, and counter-FPV operations without the use of real unmanned systems

Purpose of the UAV system

TECHNOLOGY ADVANTAGES

Realistic UAV operator training

The system simulates UAV operations in an environment closely matching real combat conditions

It replicates drone control processes, target detection and tracking, and coordination between operators and other participants

During training, the system records operator actions, flight parameters, and mission results, allowing instructors to analyze performance

The platform enables repeated training across various UAV deployment scenarios without using real drones

System Operation Principle

The system is based on UAV control simulation and combat scenario modeling in a virtual environment

Participant Setup

Depending on the selected scenario, participants take positions as part of an interceptor drone crew (pilot and navigator) or as an FPV operator and shooter

Scenario Configuration

The instructor creates a training scenario and defines parameters such as UAV types, flight characteristics, trajectories, interception or attack conditions, and airspace environment settings

Mission Execution

In the UAV interception module, the interceptor crew performs detection, tracking, and interception of aerial targets. In the counter-FPV module, the FPV operator controls the drone using FPV goggles and executes attack scenarios, while the shooter uses a VR headset and weapon replicas to track and engage aerial targets

Monitoring & Analysis

The system records UAV flight parameters, operator actions, aiming processes, and engagement results. The instructor receives real-time data and controls the training process through a management interface

Training complex modules

FPV Drone Countermeasure Module

A training module designed for preparing FPV drone operators and shooters to counter hostile UAVs in realistic simulated conditions

Crew Roles

  • Pilot

Wears FPV goggles, controls the drone using a remote control, performs maneuvers and attacks

  • Shooter

Works while wearing VR goggles, uses a replica pump-action shotgun or AK-74, tracks an FPV drone, and fires shots

Module Components

  • Portable training station
  • FPV goggles and remote control
  • Shooter's VR headset
  • Models of small arms (pump-action shotgun, AK-74)
  • ORION WORLD Software

Features of the training environment

  • Man-to-man training in countering FPV drones
  • Practicing the shooter's actions during an FPV drone attack, detecting an aerial target, aiming and firing at the drone
  • FPV attack simulation controlled by a real operator
  • Recording of shooting parameters and analysis of the shooter's actions, including tracking of weapon position, the aiming process and hit results
  • Instructor supervision of the training process and simulation of FPV attacks
